At first, Waverly feels overwhelmed by the return of Willa. She was to young to really know Willa. Wynonna does not want anyone intown to know Willa's back. Dolls comes back with a DNA test results and Willa's matches Wynonna's.
Willa wakes up and instantly wants to leave and the only thing Wynonna can think of is to offer her a drink.
Wynonna welcomes Willa to the Earp family as only an Earp can: over hard liquor. |
Sweet theme song
Wynonna and Waverly take willa to her room hoping to trigger some of her memories but this doesn't work. When Willa leaves, Waverly asks to leave see Nicole Haught, all Wynonna can say is "what? Are u and nicole best friends now."
At Shorty's Saloon, Bobo is having a meeting with judge Cryderman who gives him green crystals. When the judge exits, the twins come to Bobo.
In exchange for his loyalty, Bobo has been gifted these weird, green crystals by Judge Cryderman. Is Bobo hosting a rave at his saloon? |
The judge meets Mr. Stokes who is visiting Purgatory and is going to the hotel room
Mr. Stokes goes to his hotel room and opens his case to reveal a lot of money. The twins immediately pay him a visit and ofcourse he has no chance against him. One of them feeds from him and they take his money.
Mr. Stokes checks into his hotel room to find the last guests haven’t checked out yet. They help him unwind before the big match. |
Wynonna is still feeling guilty for giving up on Willa when talking to Gus. Willa catches their conversation and asks Wynonna to tell her the truth. Wynonna takes her to bottles and cans shooting practice and tells her about the revenants. I don't remember Wynonna being this good at target prectice. Willa takes the gun and when she is about to shoot her memories return (that was fast, though that doesn't matter since it makes the episode more interesting). Willa instantly becomes more bad-ass than Wynonna at target practice, Wynonna not forgetting to note that.
Doc's car has broke down and a 'good Samaritan' comes to help. Doc accepts but not after first pointing a gun at him, asking for help, then lying about throwing his keys. The man while repairing Doc's car sends him to the toolbox where Doc finds his deputy badge, given to him by Wyatt. The man then somehow teleports to his car. He reveals his name to be Juan Carlos and tells Doc about Wynonna needing his help.
Meanwhile, out on the road, Doc’s car has broken down at the border and a hardened Good Samaritan offers his help. He also offers some words of wisdom — these Doc didn’t order. |
Its finally time for Waverly and Willa to have a moment and it doesn't go well. Waverly's idea of catching up is showing Willa her death certificate and so the only thing they can talk about is Willa's funeral which leads to Willa asking what they buried in their father's coffin and flashback which makes Willa remember how their dad died. When Willa reaches to touch Waverly, she flinches and Willa walks out in anger because Waverly didn't like her much.
Waverly isn’t as at ease around Willa as her older sister is, especially when she has to confront the fact that for all intents and purposes they “killed” her. On paper that is. |
Dolls and Wynonna go to the house where Bradley Stokes is. Dolls explains how they found Stokes and I am as interested in it as Wynonna but all I know is that it involves a smartwatch. Wynonna is too insecure and scared of being replaced she does not think about much else. Dolls consoles her by saying 'you are the Earp that I need."
Wynonna finds one of twins in the house feasting on stokes. The twin tries to compel her but it doesn't work and so the twin runs. The other twin runs into Dolls and her charm works with Dolls. Even under the influence, Dolls rules the show and the twins fight over Dolls instead of maybe working together and sharing, giving Wynonna just enough time to save him but one of them gets away. Dolls uses himself as bait and the twin is so hungry she falls for it and she is gone. (The twins only live for half the episode which is kind of sad, they are more interesting than most of this season's villains)
Wynonna and Waverly find Willa drinking at Shorty's (drinking everything to find out what she likes). Willa reveals that their father possibly knew the revenants were going to attack and did nothing about it. Willa takes peacemaker and shoots a revenant in the bar with everyone watching.
Wynonna and Waverly find their sister in the company of Whiskey Jim at Bobo’s Saloon. Willa’s well on her way to becoming a soaked-in-the-wool Earp — soaked in alcohol, that is. |
Dolls is not so happy about this and Wynonna sides with him. A fight between Wynonna and Willa occurs which ends with Wynonna storming out of the house (she is really insecure, talk about sister issues). Willa follows her and when reminiscing about their childhood, the two girls realise how close they were as kids. Waverly eavesdrops on the conversation and with her sisters bonding, she feels left out and with Willa saying, "You are not alone anymore" seals it for her, knowing she will never be that close to her sisters.
Recognizing that she can’t go around shooting Revenants in front of a viewing public, Willa apologizes and she and Wynonna embrace. Where does this leave Waverly? |
Bobo hears about what happened and on checking a video of it, notices a new Earp sister.
A group of soldiers are then seen in a vehicle and something, suddenly is terribly wrong.
It is finally time for Dolls and Waverly to have a moment and one can't help but notice how wise Dolls is, always having the right advice for someone having a low moment.
The soldiers don't allow this to last and attack the building, with no intention of leaving any survivors. Dolls handles the situation expertly first with the smoke bomb (covers it with table cloth) and then with the grenade (throws it back at them).
Dolls must ward them off using every trick in his playbook. And that playbook includes flipping tables and kicking ass. |
We find out that Wynonna and Willa think the same (Willa:Take them by surprise, Wynonna:Get out of my head) and they come out of the barn all gung ho. Too bad there is only one soldier for them to kill.
Waverly also decides to join in the fun. |
As do her sisters. It’s a family affair. |
Willa gets ambushed by the soldier but Bobo saves her life and she saves Bobo's life from Wynonna.
We find out that the mercenaries came to assassinate Dolls. Willa suddenly wants to know everything about Bobo Del Rey.
Bobo makes a deal with judge Cryderman (so that he can spare the judge's life for threatening the life of the Earps through the mercenaries). He wants the judge to throw him some kind of party.
The episode ends when Doc Holliday's car breaks down again. He gets out to take a look and someone knocks him out from behind.
