Unlike other episodes, the episode did not begin with the theme song right away but it began with a group of men building a, er, no idea what they are building when someone drops a log, and this person is revealed to be Sandor Clegane aka the Hound. A priest called Brother Ray (portrayed by Ian Mcshane) found him lying on the ground and thought him dead but the Hound coughs and the priest takes him back home. Later in the episode, brother Ray talks about his dark past as a mercenary, of arson, theft and
murder. It looks like GOT version of rehab. Three horsemen from the Brotherhood without banners ride to their
little group, the Hound looks kind of uneasy like he doesn't trust this men. He tries to convince brother Ray to fight this men but he doesn't listen. When the Hound returns from chopping wood, he finds everyone dead and brother Ray hanging on the structure they were building. He removes an axe, ready to fight.
At King's Landing,the high sparrow finds Margaery reading from the 'book of the mother', she can even quote the book exactly as it is and one starts to wonder whether she has really converted or if it is all an act, the high sparrow tells her to go and try to convert her grandmother, the Queen of Thorns too. Margeary goes and asks her grandmother to leave for High Garden but she refuses. Margaery then puts something in her grandmother's hands revealing that she might have a plan after all and the Queen of Thorns accepts to leave King's Landing. Cersei Lannister tries to convince her to stay but she tells Cersei exactly what she thinks of her.
In the North, the wildlings are in meeting to decide whether they should follow Jon Snow into the battle against Ramsay Bolton. Jon makes a good speech to convince them and Tormund makes even a better speech and so the wildlings seem convinced to follow Jon Snow. Sansa
and jon snow then go to Bear Island to ask for their allegiance. Their, they meet lady Lyanna Mormont, a ten year old girl who steals the show completely from Jon and Sansa. Davis Seaworth saves the day, again and Game of Thrones has yet another powerful and strong lady. Jon
Snow tries to convince Lord Robert Glover to fight for them but he refuses, saying the Boltons saved his home and people from the Ironborn. When Sansa tries to make him remember his oath he answers back with some strong words saying, " I served house stark once, but house
stark is dead."When they return,Jon Snow feels the army is readyto match on Winterfell but Sansa doesn't think so, she says he should try to get more men. Sansa writes a letter probably to ask for help.
Bronn finally makes his season six appearance riding alongside Sir Jaime Lannister, who is leading an army for a siege on Riverrun. Walder Frey's sons threaten to kill lord edmure but blackfish doesn't yield, saying, "go on then cut his throat" and leaves. Jaime tells Freys to bathe and feed LordEdmure, they refuse but Jaimeslaps one of them and takes over the siege. He tells Bronn he wants to parley with Blackfish saying, "he is an old man." Jaime talks toblackfish, trying to convince him to surrender. Blackfish refuses saying edmure is doomed and they have enough provisions for two years and asks Jaime if they have two years.
Yara and Theon have stopped at a place full of half-naked women, with Theon looking very uncomfortable, it is also revealed that Yara is a lesbian.Asha tries to bring out the real Theon Greyjoy by pep talking him and it is revealed that she plans to sail to Meereenand make a pact with the Dragon Queen,Daenerys Targaryen.
Arya pays a ship owner to leave Braavos but the waif disguised as an old
woman ambushes her and stabs her in the stomach. She escapes by jumping
in the river. When she gets out of the river, she is bleeding but everyone she meets totally ignores her, not willing to help.
